In 2006, the record for Alec was being knocked out in 9 seconds by a Frenchman in the first round. This year - 7 seconds! AND another bloomin’ Frenchman! Still, a hoot was had by all. Over 500 people entered and a record crowd of well over 5000. Tears were probably in Alec’s eyes as he led the Opening Ceremony carrying the Scotland flag. Ah well, it’s back to practicing for Sunday 12th October 2008 in the ever sunny village of Ashton. |
